Grammar: Present tenses

Next lesson, we'll revise the present tenses: present simple and present continuous. At this point, it's very important to be sure about the form of the present simple and continuous. These videos will help you refresh your memory: Form of present simple: (I usually wear a T-shirt and a pair of jeans) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9AWrJnhsRI Form and use of present continuous:  am/is/are + verb-ing (Today I'm wearing a dress) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBbJNjjSYBo&t=8s Remember that we use the present simple to talk about routines , facts or things that are always true and with  stative verbs , such as love, like, understand, believe, etc. and we use the present continuous to talk about actions that are happening now , at this moment, or future plans : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3DH774OxeQ This box with time expressions may be useful:

Grammar UNIT 2: Past Simple

This unit we're studying the PAST SIMPLE tense. Watch this video about how to form it and when to use it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLA58CSIf3M Notice that the verb TO BE and the modal verb CAN are irregular and they don't follow the rules. The past simple of TO BE is WAS or WERE and the past simple of CAN is COULD. Finally, here you'll find a list of irregular verbs that may be useful: https://aprendemasingles.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/lista-de-verbos-irregulares-en-inglecc81s.pdf

LITERATURE - Share about one book

This week we're talking about literature. So, let's share about our favourite books, or the last book you read, the one you're reading at the moment, etc. I'll start talking about one book I read when I was 18 and really impressed me: And you? Which book would you recommend? Leave your comment telling us. Remember to include this information: What's the title? Who's the author? What kind of book is it? When did you read it? Why did you like it?
