    1. I haven't read the book, I've only seen one film but I think there's much metaphor in it. There's a famous bestseller titled 1984 which also deals with oppressive systems and totalitarianism. Thank you for your suggestion!

    -Title : Caperucita en Manhattan
    -Author : Carmen Martín Gaite
-Kind of book : Adventure story
-Age when you read it : 7 months ago

It's a very good book, at first it seems to be typical boring books, simply because the inroduction is a little long, but then you start to like it more, it's about a girl who lives in Brooklin and every weekend visits her grandmother and they are talking about the old days of the grandmother as a singer.
Then they have a meeting with the best baker in Manhattan, and then with a person who lives in the statue of freedom, and with them they have adventures in Mannhattan. I would continue but for those who have not read it I do not want to do much spoiler I recommend it for children between 10 and 15 because it has a few words of difficult vocabulary

Grammar: Present tenses

Next lesson, we'll revise the present tenses: present simple and present continuous. At this point, it's very important to be sure about the form of the present simple and continuous. These videos will help you refresh your memory: Form of present simple: (I usually wear a T-shirt and a pair of jeans) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9AWrJnhsRI Form and use of present continuous:  am/is/are + verb-ing (Today I'm wearing a dress) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBbJNjjSYBo&t=8s Remember that we use the present simple to talk about routines , facts or things that are always true and with  stative verbs , such as love, like, understand, believe, etc. and we use the present continuous to talk about actions that are happening now , at this moment, or future plans : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3DH774OxeQ This box with time expressions may be useful:

Grammar UNIT 2: Past Simple

This unit we're studying the PAST SIMPLE tense. Watch this video about how to form it and when to use it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLA58CSIf3M Notice that the verb TO BE and the modal verb CAN are irregular and they don't follow the rules. The past simple of TO BE is WAS or WERE and the past simple of CAN is COULD. Finally, here you'll find a list of irregular verbs that may be useful: https://aprendemasingles.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/lista-de-verbos-irregulares-en-inglecc81s.pdf
