An Opinion Essay

This week in class we're taking a look at how to organise a writing giving our opinion about a topic. This kind of writing it's usually called "opinion essay" or "for and against essay".

Grammar: Present tenses

Next lesson, we'll revise the present tenses: present simple and present continuous. At this point, it's very important to be sure about the form of the present simple and continuous. LITERATURE - Share about one book

This week we're talking about literature. So, let's share about our favourite books, or the last book you read, the one you're reading at the moment, etc. I'll start talking about one book I read when I was 18 and really impressed me: And you? Grammar UNIT 2: Past Simple

This unit we're studying the PAST SIMPLE tense. Watch this video about how to form it and when to use it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLA58CSIf3M Notice that the verb TO BE and the modal verb CAN are irregular and they don't follow the rules. The past simple of TO BE is WAS or WERE and the past simple of CAN is COULD.
